Popped into Hungry Horse with a couple of mates to watch the football, and it did the job nicely. There were plenty of screens around, so we had a clear view from our table, and they actually had the sound on too, which makes a big difference.
The food was decent for the price and came out quickly, especially considering how busy it was. The staff were friendly and kept things moving without making a fuss, which is all you really want on a match day.

It did get ridiculously loud near the bar at one point, but that’s pretty much expected when the game’s on. Overall, good atmosphere, no real complaints, and I’d happily go back for another match

I found the pub cold and flat, to be honest. Compared to other pubs I’ve been to that feel warm and cosy, this one just had loud tables everywhere and no real atmosphere. I mostly just wanted to finish my drink and head out.

I emailed them twice because I was trying to get a proper response, but I never really got one. It felt like my messages were either being ignored or just not handled properly, which was frustrating because I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just a clear reply. Overall, the way it was dealt with came across as really poor and not very professional

We sat outside it was unpleasant. Most of the tables were sticky, dirty, and still covered in old glasses, and no one seemed to be in any rush to clear them. The chairs were wobbly too, which didn’t help. I weirdly remember one glass had a little soggy lime wedge stuck to the side the entire time we were there. We ended up leaving after one drink because it just didn’t feel nice to sit there...

I tried booking a table, but it looks like the reservation never really went through. I waited around a bit and checked, but there didn’t seem to be any confirmation or record of it.

The drink options were disappointing, honestly. It was just the same usual stuff you see everywhere, nothing that really stood out or made me want to try this or that.

I stopped in for a bite and it was alright, though not really anything special. I’ve had better burgers at similar places before, and this one was a bit on the dry side. The chips were decent though, which helped. I’d probably eat there again if I was nearby and hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Hungry Horse is okay, especially when there’s a deal on. I’ve had some meals there that were good for the price, and the portions are usually generous. That said, it can be a bit inconsistent, sometimes the food comes out nice, other times it feels a bit average. I’d go back if I wanted a cheap pub meal, but I wouldn’t go in expecting anything too special.

I mostly use hungryhorse.co to check what offers are on before we head out. Some of the deals are actually decent, especially the weekday food ones, and they defo help make eating out with the kids a bit cheaper. The only annoying thing is the offers can be a bit confusing, and not every pub seems to have the same stuff available. Food is alright for the price, nothing wow, but totally fine. Worth having a look imo, just don’t expect anything fancy lol

Went here with the family and the kids menu was really handy. The staff were nice enough, and there was plenty of room for the pram, which made things easier. I still had the receipt in my email afterward and felt like the price was fair for a quick meal. That said, it got noisy and the service was a bit slow. Not a bad spot overall, just could be better.

I placed my order online and it did go through in the end, but the whole process felt a bit rough. Some pages were loading so slowly I was just sitting there like, really?! Finding a few items was more annoying than it needed to be too. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but the site could definitely be easier to use.

I was really hoping this would hit the spot, but i still left hungry. Kind of regret choosing this because it just didn’t feel like enough for the price

I’d seen a few people say the online payment was simple, they were right. I paid online with no hassle at all, and it went through first time.

It’s not very handy to get to unless you’re driving. I can imagine a lot of other customers finding it awkward too, especially if they’re relying on public transport or walking. I wouldn’t really bother going again.

Well... we tried to stop by for food, but the parking situation was a mess. We drove around for ages and still couldn’t find a spot anywhere nearby, so in the end we just gave up and left. It’s really not ideal if you’ve got kids or older family members with you. I probably wouldn’t bother going back unless they sort the parking out

It just wasn’t super easy to move around. The ramp was, like, a bit awkward to use, and the toilets felt way too far away, which was kind of frustrating

Went to our local Hungry Horse last weekend and, yeah, I don’t know… the cleanliness wasn’t great. The table was sticky, the menus had old sauce on them, and there were bits of food under the chairs, which just kind of puts you off straight away. The staff were polite enough and the food itself came out fine, so it wasn’t like everything was awful. But it’s hard to properly enjoy your meal when the place feels like it needs a good clean. The toilets weren’t much better either, which didn’t really help. Not the worst visit I’ve ever had, but definitely something they need to sort out

I’ve gone here a few times now, mostly because I kept thinking maybe I just caught them on an off day. The first time was decent enough, so I figured I’d give it another shot. I checked the Hungry Horse website before heading out and it said they were open, so we drove over with the kids already hungry in the car. Got there and the place was shut, with no note on the door and nothing updated online. It was such a waste of time. I tried getting in touch afterwards too, but the email reply felt like it was written by a robot and didn’t really answer anything. If the hours change, just update the website so people don’t make wasted trips
